How long does Skin Complete last?

Our duo with 60 capsules of Skin Vit A+ and 60 capsules of Skin Antioxidant will last for 60 days.

Are high doses of vitamin A safe?

Two slices of calves liver contains 120,000ius, to put this in perspective our capsule contains 5000ius which falls within industry recommended upper safety limits while still being at a level suitable to support skin health.

Pregnant women, or women planning to become pregnant, should not take vitamin A except on the advice of their doctor or ante-natal clinic.

What are antioxidants and what are the benefits of taking supplements containing them?

Antioxidants are special nutrients that protect us from harmful toxins called oxidants or free radicals, which damage cells, accelerate ageing and cause disease.

These by-products of oxygen are like the ‘sparks’ that emanate from anything that’s burnt, including cigarettes, petrol and fried or barbecued food. Even the process we use to ‘burn’ food for energy inside our body cells end up making a bucketful of oxidants every year.

Antioxidants are like fireproof gloves, catching the sparks and protecting us. Each antioxidant becomes ‘hot’ and passes the oxidant to another until there is no more danger – so they work cooperatively. The key players are vitamin E (seeds, nuts and fish); vitamin C (fruits and vegetables); vitamin A and beta-carotene (orange or red foods); glutathione (onions and garlic); and anthocyanidins (berries and beetroot). You can top these up with an all-round antioxidant supplement that contains any of the above.

Skin Antioxidant features seven phyto (plant) nutrients including green tea, turmeric, bilberry fruit (often referred to as European blueberries), beta carotene, lutein (sourced from marigold flower petals), turmeric root, grapeseed extract and lycopene (found in tomatoes).

Why is the capsule purple?

Skin Antioxidant ingredients are encased in capsule derived from purple carrot extract which give the purple coloured hue.

We offer FREE 1-2 WORKING DAYS delivery using DPD to anywhere in the UK on orders over £40 and when placed prior to 2pm Mon-Fri. Orders to remote parts of the UK, Ireland and overseas may take longer.

Please note we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes in the UK. A full street address is required.

Shipping on orders under £40 to UK cost £3.95.

To make sure your products get to you in time, we send them recorded delivery via DHL Express, so someone will need to sign for them. Once your parcel has been dispatched we will email you with a tracking number so that you can check its status. We aim to deliver your products within 48 hours of placing an order if you’re in the UK. However, please note our warehouse is not open Sat-Sun so orders placed after 2pm on Friday or later will not be processed until the next working day.
