Collagen. The buzzword in the skincare industry – thanks to its amazing importance for skin health. While there’s a lot of hype around the word there are also many myths, which can lead to confusion when it comes to selecting collagen supplements. Myth 1: You should only take supplements that contain collagen

Taking collagen directly from a supplement or drink may provide you with the results you’re looking for, but it is important to review ingredient labels. Why? Since a teamwork of nutrients are essential for collagen formation. Our Head of Nutrition, Lorraine Perretta, explains why:

“Collagen is made from amino acids found in protein foods. Most of us have enough protein in our diet, so the body already has the building blocks it needs to make its own collagen.
